Maid in the Meadow is a small business owned by Allison Dove located in the beautiful Norfolk Broads. A beauty therapist, she specialises in organic skincare and teaches workshops on how to make your own beautiful, organic skincare products.

My name is Allison and I have been involved in the beauty industry since 1982 when I worked in retail cosmetics for a large high street chemist and then later for the Body Shop.

I grew up in the wild and beautiful landscape of the West Highlands of Scotland and have always loved the simple "less is more" approach to health and beauty, using "nature to nurture,"

I qualified in beauty therapy, aromatherapy and Swedish massage therapy in 1999, and later trained in hot stone massage, Indian head massage and seated acupressure massage.  I studied Reiki up to Level 3 between 2000 and 2007 with Vanessa Carter from Norfolk.  In 2014 I became a licensed teacher with the School of Natural Skincare and now teach small groups and individuals how to make their own organic skincare products.

The Maid in the Meadow organic skincare workshops are relaxed, fun, creative and informative half or one day workshops where you can learn how to make your own organic skincare products using high quality,

organic plant oils, butters, waxes, hydrosols and essential oils.

All products created in the workshops and used in beauty and massage treatments are made using organic ingredients, grown without pesticides, sourced from local reputable suppliers where possible and using recycled or recyclable packaging. The ingredients used in the products are not tested on animals and all fragrances are derived from organic essential oils.

If you would love to learn more or book a workshop contact Allison on 07789226894  or email allisondove@maidinthemeadow.com

The Shea Butter used to make products in the workshops is sourced from the Akoma Co-operative in Ghana.
